My little tree climbers

We went to Grandma-ma's and Grandpa's house (my parents) to visit. The kids had a fun time with Grandpa in the yard. They especially loved climbing the tree. Carson thought he was the coolest thing ever. JD liked it too, but not quite as much as carson did. That's why there are more pictures of Carson.
note: this first picture and the rest are different days, but the kids have been lovin' trees lately.

Does it make you feel a little funny, in a good way, to think about climbing that tree when you were little, and how that tree has kept on growing itself while you've grown up, and now your own children are getting big enough to climb in it, too??

My kids haven't climbed in that tree yet. But I think if they ever do, that will be all I can think about while I watch them.

Grandmama---I really enjoyed looking at the pictures. I didn't get to see them the days you took them. I remember when it came time for Carson to come down from the highest point, he couldn't do it. You had to climb up and help begin his jump down to Grandpa! Thanks.

Yeah, I thought about that, If you call me I'll tell you something I confessed to carving in that tree! :o) But I would never write it on a blog where others could read it! Dad just laughed at me. Silly love....

I carved something on the insides of our old dark brown kitchen cupboards once. ;) At least I picked something less permanent than a tree, lol!!

Well, according to Mom, the tree is dying, so I doubt it will be there 5 years form now. What if Mom had found that carving in the cupboards? At least I don't graffiti in the house! Unless you count writing on the bottom of the top bunk bed! But we all did that! :o)
