August 1st I went shopping at the mall with James, and came home with Tessa's ears pierced. I already knew I would be piercing them soon, and Dorian gave me the OK, but I didn't plan on doing it this day. It was a fun surprise for Dorian and Carson when they got home from floating the river. I love that she looks so girly even when she's not wearing a bow!!!

Did she cry really hard? They are cute!
REALLY hard for ONE minute and then just cried for 10 minutes, but she needed to eat too. I fed her and she was fine!

Too cute! The only reason my mom pierced my ears at the age of 3 was to get people to stop calling me a boy due to the lack of hair on my noggin. Definitely not the case for Tessa!
My hair grew after the ear piercing though, so maybe Eliza should...
Is it hard to keep them cleaned and all that?
Not hard at all Natalie! BUT, she's not old enough to really fight me yet either! The first 6 weeks, you're supposed to clean them 3 times a day. Piece of cake with a newborn. You're already changing their diaper WAY more often then that!
