Every Fall and Spring Rigby High School holds a short preschool for kids from the age of 3 (and potty trained) till they are in Kindergarten. The cost is $5, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get the kids out of the house for 2 hours a day 2 times a week. Even better, Carson and James were BOTH able to attend this spring. That gave me a nice break from time to time. This is Carson's 3rd graduation, but JD's first.
Thank you Rigby High School for giving my kids the opportunity to learn and grow, and giving me a break! Here's to many more graduations with James!
THE MEN OF THE HOUR (or should I say 1/2 hour):
Carson
James
singing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star"
Unfortunately James smashed his fingers on a chair right as the "ceremony" stared, and didn't want a thing to do with participating. I'll just have to get him on camera in the Fall!
Here's a little video of "The Wheels on the Bus"
Carson's drawing of the day.
Eating snacks:
James, Carson and Ellie
*on a side note, James was really emotional this WHOLE week. So to try and get him in the picture smiling just wasn't happening! :o) I love my emotional little guy.

Baby Update
I went to the doctor on Tuesday and I'm still 0 centimeters. He said my due date is looking pretty accurate, but was nice enough to throw in a little "but that doesn't mean you can't be in labor tomorrow." At least I'll stop hoping every day that I'm having my baby.
14 days left...
It will be a long 14 days.
I just can't believe that I'm still at a 0 when I feel like my body has been working so hard this past week. It's a little discouraging. AND on Sunday night I REALLY, SERIOUSLY, thought I would be on my way to the hospital and having a baby. Maybe I just needed that little kick in the butt to actually get myself to go and register at the hospital and get the few extra things that I needed for the baby. It looks like we're ready to go. All that's left is for the car seat to be put in the car, but that can happen while I'm in the hospital.
Baby Ducker, we're ready when you are!

I came home the other night from getting my hair done, and Dorian and Carson had something to show me on the camera. This was it! He made his very own Lincoln Log cabin. You go Carson!! :o)
PS: Enjoy my blog bingeing! I thought I should catch up BEFORE we had a baby. So, make sure you keep scrolling down.

hanging out
Here are my boys hanging out on my birthday. We went to a ward adult party that night. Free dinner, free babysitting, free entertainment from some ballroom dancers. (The kids dancers were to DIE for) and then a free movie rental that night. Super great birthday. Only thing that wasn't free? My root canal. :o( At least my mouth feels better.

CLEANING OUT THE CLOSETS
I've been doing A LOT of cleaning out closets and the storage downstairs. One good thing is that things are organized. Another good thing is that I've been able to purge all that junk that hasn't been touched for 2 years. The bad thing is that my garbage can is FULL TO THE MAX, and I have a pile waiting to go in every week. The other night I had to make Dorian jump on the garbage to get the kitchen garbage in the can. We couldn't just leave it in the garage because sometimes we get mice in there because there is a field right behind our house. I think this might be only the 2nd time in marriage that he's ever had to jump in the garbage just to fit more. SO, I thought I snap a picture, which by the way, Dorian was GREATLY opposed to, and said it was stupid that I was even blogging about this. I just like to see my hard work of going trough all our crap and throwing stuff away not go unnoticed! :o)
Smashing the garbage down
The never ending pile!

The Baby Shower
Thankfully I have such great friends who were willing and wanting to throw me a shower for this little Ducker girl that's coming soon. I had a blast, and I got some much needed things. There are only a few things left that I need.
It was great to be able to get together with the girls and have a fun afternoon. If you know me well, that's exactly what I'd like to do everyday of my life. :o)
Thanks again to EVERYONE who came to support me and have a good time. An extra thanks to all the girls that planned the party and set up for the party. I know how much work it was, and I really appreciate it. Marie, thanks for always letting us use your house. It's the best party house around!
