6 year Anniversary

On the 31st it was our 6 year wedding anniversary. We got a babysitter and she came and picked them up at noon. We finished cleaning the house, and then we went golfing. This was probably the highlight of my day. It was only my second time going, and I'm not going to lie. For a beginner, I'm not too shabby! I got a couple of bogies and I had a blast.
Then we came home and got ready and left for Idaho Falls. We went to dinner at The Cellar. It was really good, and it was fun spoiling ourselves. Then we left to see Indiana Jones. It was a good movie but I don't like it as much as I liked the other ones.
We had our friends Rocky and Andrea come to our house and watch the kids overnight. WE went and stayed at Le Ritz. It was so nice to be alone for a whole day. It was a much needed get away, and was really refreshing.
I wanted to post wedding pictures of us from 6 years ago, but I don't have my printer/scanner set up. Kinda of a bummer. Oh well. These pictures will have to do, and maybe we'll get wedding ones posted next year. :o)

I still haven't decided if I want to read the 1st chapter or not. I think I want to wait.

Two Sundays Ago & Warm River

Two Sundays ago we went for a family drive and a picnic. We got home from church and packed our stuff. Then we headed up to Warm River and ate our food, and then went for a hike. Right as we started out hike I saw a baby snake on the trail. This didn't make Dorian too happy since he's AMAZINGLY afraid of snakes. Luckily we didn't see any more...or the mama! It was a lot of fun and I always love doing things as a family. It seems that with Dorian's crazy work schedule, and mine thrown in there we don't have many days to go and do things. Hopefully there will be many more adventures to come!

The 1st 6 Presidents of the USA

Here's carson saying who the 1st 6 presidents of the United States are. He normally performs a little bit better (not that it's bad) than the video, but still here's what he knows.




He also knows the capitols of France, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Nevada (Carson City), Oklahoma, and Florida. We can't wait till he knows even more. Maybe I'll get a video of this soon.

Our First Day Swimming

Our weather turned really warm and nice for a few days and now it's rainy which is kind of nice for this area. Anyway, we decided to buy a pool for the kids since we don't have grass to run around and play in. (and I'm not a fan of dirty and muddy kids.)
Here are some pictures of Carson and James enjoying the pool for the first time. They had so much fun, but the sun was going sown and it was breezy out. They ended up REALLY cold, but still didn't want to get out. But I insisted!

Carson

Carson woke up this morning throwing up. He's thrown up 5 times already, and it's only been 3 hours. Poor little guy. He was diagnosed with an ear infection last Thursday, and had been acting fine, but that all changed this morning. He's thrown up his antibiotics, the pedialyte, his oatmeal breakfast (he insisted on eating) and more pedialyte. Wish us luck today, but most of all wish Dorian luck tonight! I have to work, and this will test his fatherly skills. He says he can't handle throw up no matter who it is. I can attest to this! I have thrown up ONE time in our marriage, and he laid in bed wanting to run far, far away! :o)

Happy Mother's Day MOM!

I have a great Mom who is always there to listen to me. Sometimes she even helps me fix my problems. But you know how girls are, we don't always want a solution to things. It's just nice to have someone there to listen to you, and my Mom IS! Thanks Mom for always being there for me. I'm also glad you're free to talk to. It's been nice.
